Finger

A man joins a group of war veterans listening to a brass band in the park. All of a sudden the man in front of him begins to twitch his head backward and forwards in sudden jerky movements.
“I’m sorry,” he says, “it’s an old injury I got from the war.”
A few moments later, the man to the left of him begins to throw his arms around in the air. “Sorry,” he gasps, “can’t help it. I got it in the war.”
Then the man on his right starts to shake his hand about, faster and faster it goes. “Did you get that in the war as well?” he asks.
“No,” comes the reply. “I got it from my nose and now I can’t get it off my finger.”
